Richard Bacon and Dotun Adebayo are to co-present a BBC Radio 5 Live local election results special on Thursday night, online, on television and on the radio.
Richard will be joined at Westminster by about a dozen people from across the UK, with Dotun live in BBC Television Centre talking to reporters at the key counts in England and Wales to reflect the results as they start coming in around midnight. The programme will be televised under the red button and streamed live on the web.
Radio 5 Live Controller Adrian Van Klaveren says: "5 Live is about opinion, interactivity and bringing news stories to life.
"This kind of multi-platform programme is an ideal way of offering local election results coverage, however people want to listen."
