The window to submit your application to Ofcom to run an RSL during the period of Ramadan and Eid in 2009 has been announced as 22/08/08 till 18/09/08.
The period is when Ofcom receives a lot of competing Special RSL applications, and they plan to accept these over a four week period, rather than on the usual ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Any application for a broadcast for Ramadan and Eid that is received after the 18th of September 2008 may still be considered, but only if it is for a broadcast in an area for which Ofcom has not already received an application.
