Internet radio network Play UK is continuing to hire more big names from the industry.
The latest being talkSPORT weekend host Mike Mendoza, who has now left the AM station, and former LBC presenter and comedian Iain Lee. Iain will join Tommy Boyd later this month to cover James Whale.
Marcus Quilter, Play Radio UK network manager talks about the Lee and Boyd partnership: “This is such a landmark exclusive for Play Radio UK, having two of the world’s most popular talk show hosts, unregulated for four-hours in the same week. Tommy has been a regular on Play Radio UK for some time; however, this will be a first for Iain live on an Internet only station. Mike Mendoza will host a regular show each Wednesday and Thursday evening on Play Two UK, starting next week (13th).
