Numbers are down at TLRC

The Local Radio Company has seen a drop in listeners across most its 20 stations, although a couple of stations have made a slight increase.

Minster FM in York has seen the biggest rise, from 76,000 to 90,000 listeners, and Spirit FM is up 5,000 listeners.
As a group, Q3 2008 RAJAR figures provide 721,000 listeners per week down from 745,000 in the previous quarter. Total listening hours in the quarter were 6.06 million compared to 6.29 m in the second quarter of 2008.
These results do not include Jazz FM as the station relaunched on 6 October after the end of the quarter.
