The Local Radio Company has decided to make a U-Turn with regards to networking weekend programmes introduced just six months ago.
It means stations such as Arrow FM, Minster FM, Isle of Wight Radio and Silk FM now have a local weekend breakfast show again, along with Saturday afternoons.
Richard Wheatly, out-going executive chairman of TLRC told RadioToday.co.uk: "We are giving local power back to the local stations as this is what we do best – be local".
Danny Matthews, who was [link=https://radiotoday.co.uk/news.php?extend.3330.2]hired[/link] to host the networked show was last heard covering the breakfast show for Steve Penk at 96.2 The Revolution.
