Radio Forth raises £90k

Radio Forth's Cash for Kids has raised £90,000 after hosting a three day Radiothon at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.

Cash raised from the event, will be presented to the Sick Kids Friends Foundation and will be used to fund vital new equipment and facilities for the hospital, which should make a difference to the lives of hundreds of thousands of youngsters and their families across the country.
Dawn Gibson, Marketing and Communications Director for Bauer Radio’s Cash for Kids, said: "The results of the Radiothon proved that people in Scotland really do have big hearts and we’re delighted with the significant sum raised. Well done to everyone who pledged – your money will make a difference to the lives of those in need."
