Bauer to change branding on the Radio City Tower in Liverpool

The Radio City Tower is set to become the Hits Radio Tower as Bauer makes plans to change the outside branding.

The company is awaiting approval from Liverpool City Council to change the sign, which has displayed “Radio City 96.7” since the station moved in 24 years ago.

The Grade 2 listed building, officially named St Johns Beacon, is still home to two live breakfast shows each weekday, despite recent changes.

Hits Radio Breakfast with Leanne and Joel covers Merseyside and Lancashire, whilst Simon Ross hosts the national breakfast show on Greatest Hits Radio from the tower.
