UTV Radio confirmed today that it’s currently in discussions over the sale of its Edinburgh based speech radio station, talk107. Senior station director Matt Allitt is leading the proposed management buy-out.
UTV announced in October that it would be selling the station which it launched in February 2006. At its launch, talk107 was the UK’s only local FM commercial speech radio station outside of London.
UTV Radio and Allitt have stated that they are hoping to have the deal in place before Christmas.
