After more than five years on LBC News, Lisa Aziz and Martin Stanford have decided to step down from presenting their weekday shows.
Lisa presents LBC News Breakfast from 6am to 9am, and Martin presents mid-mornings from 9am to 12pm. They were both part of the launch team when LBC News went on air across the UK in October 2019.
Announcing the news on social media this morning, Lisa said: “Happy to share after 6 years at the helm of LBC News Breakfast & 13 years across LBC/Global, I’ve decided it really is time to switch the 0330 alarm OFF!
“Very proud to be part of LBC News’ success, helping grow the weekly audience to 974,000.
“Thanks Team! Last show on 4th April!”
Martin posted: “News about the News from me: I’ve decided to step down from presenting my weekday show on @LBCNews. A big thank you to my colleagues and all my listeners who tune in every week – it’s been a pleasure – but it’s also time for a break! My last show will be next Friday 4th April.”
