GTN UK hires Radiomonitor

Global Traffic Network has chosen Radiomonitor to supply their logging services for all six Traffic Radio services in the North West, North East, Midlands, London, South East, and South West England.

Traffic Radio is operated by GTN for the Highways Agency and Transport for London, and is available on DAB digital radio and online.
The commission means that Radiomonitor logging equipment will be used to record the output of all stations, providing staff with access to off-air recordings via a web-based interface.
Speaking about the new installation, Nick Prater, Director of Radiomonitor, said: “We know the team there are working hard to build success for their Traffic Radio services and our reliable loggers mean they have one less thing to worry about”.
Will Jackson, Manager of Traffic Radio, at Global Traffic Network added: “Having joined GTN from Ofcom, I know how important logging output is. Plus we need to be able to instantly access audio to work with our reporters to ensure they’re always at the top of their game. The service from Radiomonitor allows us to easily do all of this and more”.
