talkSPORT is expanding its World Cup coverage into North America with a new daily football show.

The S Word will be available live seven days a week from 8am to 10am ET, which is 1pm to 3pm BST, during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The programme will be hosted by Will Gavin and Master Tesfatsion, with distribution across YouTube, FOXSports.com, SiriusXM, TuneIn, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other podcast platforms.

It will focus on soccer stories, debate, predictions and tournament talking points for North American audiences, while using talkSPORT’s football coverage and contributors.

Guests from across football are expected to appear, alongside athletes with an interest in the game. Brad Friedel and Simon Jordan are among the talkSPORT names due to feature during the tournament.

The show will stream on talkSPORT’s dedicated The S Word YouTube channel, with clips also shared on social platforms including Instagram and X.

Will Gavin said: “American football fans have always deserved better. The S Word is the show that finally delivers.”

Master Tesfatsion said: “The American fan is the most underappreciated in the world. We get knocked on it all the time.”

Liam Fisher, Head of talkSPORT, said the World Cup was “the perfect moment to expand our global footprint.”
