Sara Cox has announced the full DJ line-up for Radio 2 in the Park, set for 11th–13th September at City Park in Stirling.
Radio 2 presenters will host live DJ sets from noon each day, with Jeremy Vine making his debut on the DJ stage on Sunday with his set, Hits and Headlines.
Jeremy has been campaigning for a slot throughout the week, and Sara confirmed his inclusion during her breakfast show.
Friday’s DJ Pre-Party will feature sets from Sara, DJ Spoony, Gary Davies, Michelle Visage and Rylan, kicking off the weekend’s activities.
Saturday’s line-up includes Tony Blackburn’s Golden Hour, Shaun Keaveny’s Sounds of the 70s, Paddy McGuinness’ School Disco, DJ Spoony’s Good Groove, Gary Davies’ Sounds of the 80s, Jo Whiley’s Shiny Happy Playlist and Rylan’s Rybiza Anthems.
On Sunday, Jeremy returns alongside Shaun, Jo, Gary, Romesh Ranganathan, OJ Borg and Vernon Kay, each bringing their own themed sets.
Chaka Khan will headline Saturday night, while Simple Minds will close the event on Sunday with their only UK performance this year.
The weekend also features acts such as The Script, Emeli Sandé, ABC, Lulu, Texas, Level 42, James Blunt, Blue, Cast, Appleton and Deacon Blue. BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds will provide special programmes ahead of the event.
