London DAB station French Radio London has secured "substantial" investment in its digital platform future from a founding partner of a large private equity investment firm.
Thierry Baudon, of Mid Europa Partners, will also join the station's board with immediate effect.
Thierry commented "I am delighted to be supporting this significant new radio station. It fills an obvious gap in the market with 400,000 plus native French speakers living in London."
Alex Riha, Commercial Director at FRL, reveals: “We are currently negotiating with a leading automotive brand, in preparation for DAB radio becoming standard in every new car.”
Other investors include Cityjet and Mazars, one of Europe's largest accounting firms, Relais and Châteaux and Club Med.
