Capital FM London's breakfast presenter Johnny Vaughan took to the roof of their Leicester Square studios this morning as part of a new promotion with EDF Energy.
It was to watch a spectacular light show at the London Eye which was marking the start of a new partnership between Capital and EDF to encourage listeners to lead a lower carbon lifestyle.
The London breakfast show also begun a competition giving away a Peugeot iOn electric car and an eco-holiday to St Tropez.
The promotion, brokered by Global Radio and MPG, will be supported on-air across the Capital FM Network and online with a competition offering listeners around the UK the opportunity to win an eco-weekend in London, staying at one of the city’s greenest hotels.
Scott Braniff, EDF Energy Account Manager at MPG said: "95.8 Capital FM is an iconic London station which makes it the perfect place to showcase EDF Energy's new low carbon partnership with the London Eye, reinforcing the messaging across the brand-new Capital FM network."
