It’s beginning to sound a lot like Xmas

After the launch of Smooth Xmas this week, more Christmas radio stations have come to our attention.

Steve Penk’s Revolution Christmas is now available online via the Revolution site, and Radio Snowflake from Ireland launches in a couple of weeks.

Smooth Xmas is a “splinter” brand from Smooth Radio – and is the first time a temporary Christmas station has been broadcast nationally on DAB. The station has been enjoying coverage in the press since its launch on November 2nd. It’s playing non-stop Christmas songs and jingles till the end of Boxing Day.

Radio Snowflake is raising money for charity and promises Non Stop Christmas favourites with top presenters, features and competitions, run by David Baker. And Revolution Chhristmas, it’s Christmas Every Day.

There are dozens of Christmas only stations online all year round, and we expect there’ll be a few more in the coming weeks.
