Gareth Wesley joins Mix 96 for breakfast
Former Heart Home Counties presenter Gareth Wesley is joining UKRD’s Mix 96.
He was previously one half of “Gaz and Babs” and moves back to breakfast radio after two years presenting for Kiss and the BBC.
Gareth said: “I can’t wait to be back on the radio every morning again. Local radio is what I LOVE, and I feel very lucky to have been asked to be the breakfast presenter at Mix 96 because I love living in Aylesbury Vale and oddly enough I’m actually looking forward to the 5 a.m starts again too!”
Mix 96 Programme Controller, Darren Scott added: “You don’t have to spend long with Gareth to see how passionate he is about creating great sounding local radio and we’re thrilled to have him joining the team; he has exactly the personality and experience that is needed to take the breakfast show forward.”
Gareth will take over the breakfast show on Monday 13th February.
