Surrey and Hampshire station 96.4 Eagle Radio has signed up as official radio partner for Guilfest, a music event which will include performances by Olly Murs, Bryan Ferry and Jools Holland.
The UKRD station will broadcast live from the festival in Guildford’s Stoke Park on 13-15th July.
Other acts confirmed to appear include Gary Numan, Tulisa, Cher Lloyd, Tim Minchin and The Straits.
Peter Gordon, Eagle’s Programme Director said: “We’re so proud of our natural tie-up with this fantastic three day music event. It’s great that UKRD and Eagle are able to help many other commercial stations reflect the unique atmosphere that is Guilfest!”
Guilfest organiser Tony Scott added: “We’re so proud that Guilfest is one of the largest independent festivals in the UK. Eagle Radio have been an integral cog in the wheel for many years now – they are part of our Guilfest family!”
UKRD medium wave station for the patch, recently relaunched as Eagle Extra, will also broadcast additional content from the festival throughout the weekend that it’s on.
