heat airs special show for Amy Winehouse

This weekend heat radio is to commemorate the one year anniversary of Amy Winehouse’s death by collaborating with her father Mitch for a special programme.

Amy’s Jukebox – a celebration of Amy Winehouse will be broadcast this Sunday at 10am.

The “take over” show will give listeners an insight into Amy’s favourite music and the songs the pair loved and shared.

The hour-long show has been made in-house by heat radio’s Talia Kraines. She says: “It was a real honour to welcome Mitch at heat radio to present Amy’s Jukebox and celebrate her legacy. As well as picking some brilliant songs, Mitch is a fantastic story-teller and will let heat listeners hear some wonderful tales about the times he and Amy shared and the music they both loved.”

Mitch also joins Lucie Cave for an interview during her Saturday 28th July show from 10am, where he discusses how he dealt with losing his daughter and how he feels one year after her passing.
