Global Radio has created the new position of Group Director of Insight, Research & Analytics and appointed BSkyB’s Intelligence Director Matt Jeffries to it.
Matt will start the role from January 2013, and will report into Global’s Director of Broadcasting Richard Park and Director of Commercial Strategy, Stuart Mays.
Jeffries’ main responsibilities will be to work with the existing Insight department to liaise with commercial, consumer, marketing and strategic teams, and to develop and lead a new approach to insight, research and analytics, including Rajar.
Joining Global Radio from Sky IQ Jeffries was also Head of Customer Lifecycle Management and Insight at TalkTalk Group, Senior Insight Manager EMEA for The Walt Disney Company, and he also held various roles at Mediaedge:cia, Carat and Codemasters.
