Pete Price plans special Warrington show

A two hour radio special presented by Pete Price on the Warrington Bomb Anniversary will be aired tonight on Radio City & City Talk.

Airing on the 20th anniversary of the bomb explosion, the show will broadcast audio from a recent panel debate, chaired by Pete Price, on the Warrington bombs and the work of the Peace Centre set up in memory of the two boys who tragically died.

petepriceThe debate was held at the Tim Parry and Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace in Warrington in front of an audience of 100 young people aged 14-25 from Warrington, Northern Ireland and Leeds.

The panel consisted of Kelly Simcock, the Programme Manager at the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace, Barbara McCann who currently works for Radio City’s sister stations in Northern Ireland “Downtown Radio & Cool FM,” Colin Parry, Chairman and Co-founder of the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace. and David Wells, North West Counter Terrorism Unit.

The show will broadcast at 10pm on 96.7 and 105.9 FM during Pete’s usual late night phone-in slot.
