James Whale returns to the West Midlands

Former talkSPORT and LBC 97.3 presenter James Whale is heading to BBC WM 95.6 to cover Adrian Goldberg’s phone in programme for a week.

James was last in the region on Central Weekend Live on TV during the 1990s but was most recently doing drive on LBC.

He’ll be on-air from the week beginning 28th October across the West Midlands.

Managing Editor of BBC WM 95.6 Gareth Roberts said: “Filling the boots of Adrian Goldberg is always a tough ask, but in James Whale we have someone who is a master of delivering high quality engaging speech radio. As a station, BBC WM is full of big personalities and I‘m delighted that James is joining the team for the week.”

Since leaving LBC 97.3 James has been presenting shows at BBC Radio Berkshire and BBC Three Counties Radio and a new online version of his 1989 TV show, Whales Weekly.

A new version of The James Whale Radio Show is also now available as a podcast for download.
