Heart’s manager Luis Clark to depart Global

Luis Clark, Managing Editor of the Heart Regions, is leaving Global after 10 years.

He’s been with Global since it bought GCap Media and has been in charge of the Heart brand ever since.

Last year, James Rea was appointed as Managing Editor for Heart, as a replacement for Gary Stein who was Heart London Managing Editor.

Richard Park, Executive Director of Global Radio, tells RadioToday: “After 10 years at Global, Luis Clark has decided to leave. Luis has played an important role in launching and embedding new Heart stations across the UK and he leaves with our very best wishes.”

Luis has been in charge at Heart for 10 years, overseeing the expansion of the brand from 2008 onwards, before that he looked after GCap Media’s One Network for six years.

Previously has held the positions of Programme Controller at Invicta FM, PC at Trent FM, and Programme Manager at Key 103.
