Juice FM – Liverpool today revealed it is to re-launch its weekday evening show as “The Large Portion”, after reaching a licensing agreement with the brand’s owners.
The market leading Large Portion brand started its life five years ago as Radio City’s evening programme. Large Portion’s Operations Manager Mo Maghazachi said “It was important for us as a youth brand to connect to as many young people across Merseyside as possible and our research shows that young Liverpool prefer 107.6 Juice Fm”
Louis Hurst, Large Portion’s owner, who is also making the switch to present on 107.6 Juice FM himself commented “I am so excited that the Large Portion name will live on and continue to entertain Liverpool, I can’t wait to get back on the radio myself later this year with the new Breakfast Portion, and I am sure Richard Morris and the rest of the Large Portion team will do really well.”
Clive Dickens 107.6 Juice FM’s Programming and Operations Director told RadioMad.net “We are constantly investing in 107.6 Juice FM and the famous Large Portion brand will play a significant role in the development of Juice in Merseyside”.
