Eugene back on the radio

Big Brother runner-up Eugene Sully has returned to the hospital radio station which he was a volunteer at before he went in the Big Brother house.

Radio DGH in Eastbourne are glad to have him back so he can work on more technical projects such as a playout system to allow Radio DGH to broadcast 24 hours instead of re-broadcasting Capital Gold.

Eugene has been a regular at the hospital radio station since 1998 but wants to do more TV work in the future having recently appeared on Blue Peter, Top of the Pops and Channel 4.

“I haven’t been down to Eastbourne since getting out of the house but it’s a lovely town” said Eugene. “I used to come down quite a lot to the station but also to visit friends. Hospital and student radio is an excellent way to get into the profession. It gives you experience and contacts and is a lot of fun.”
