Ofcom today announces an extension of coverage to Bright FM (Burgess Hill & Haywards Heath) to include the adjoining locality of Lewes, by means of a relay transmitter.
The Broadcasting Act 1990 (as amended) allows Ofcom to vary licences providing it ?would not result in a significant increase in the area or locality for which the service in question is licensed to be provided?.
Bright’s 106.8 Lewes transmitter was switched on in Autumn last year.
