New MD for TLRC Radio Division

Sally Oldham has joined TLRC as Managing Director of the radio division. She will be responsible for its thirty local radio stations, reporting to the Company?s Chief Executive Richard Wheatly.

Between 1997 and 2000, Sally was Group Managing Director of Capital Radio plc, responsible for all its radio businesses including its flagship station in London.

Commenting on Sally?s appointment, CEO Richard Wheatly said:

?I?m delighted that Sally is joining our team. Our business has grown dramatically in the short time since flotation. We have acquired ten new licences and the business is about to enter a further period of growth. Sally will bring invaluable operational and strategic experience to our business as it expands over the next year and beyond.?

Sally spent her early career managing a number of stations within the GWR group. She was then appointed to the PLC Board as Strategy & Development Director, where she was responsible for Capital?s strategic development, including its acquisitions and digital strategy. Since 2002 she has been running her own company, specialising in providing interim management & strategic services to the media industry.
