Rick says Yes to Planet Rock

Renowned keyboard player Rick Wakeman has joined Digital station Planet Rock to present a weekly show called ?Rick?s Place? every Saturday Morning at 10.

Rick made his name with the world-famous progressive rock group Yes in the early 1970s. Whilst with Yes, he started releasing solo material including albums The Six Wives of Henry VIII and Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

You’ll hear Rick telling tales of his exploits on the road and in the studio and find out about Rick?s musical relations in ?The Wakeman Family Tree?. He?s also bound to have a good old moan! All mixed up with great music and some very special prizes ? which recently included Rick giving away his tour bus on air!

So, as the press release says, if you want to hear the best classic rock music on the radio, hosted by a classic rock legend, then tune your DAB digital radio to Planet Rock ? the UK?s Classic Rock station.
