Gordon Davidson exits TLRC

Gordon Davidson, Group Programme Director for The Local Radio Company has decided to leave the company to explore new opportunities within the music and radio business.

Staff at TLRC stations were informed of the news yesterday afternoon. Richard Wheatly, Chief Executive of TLRC told staff that Gordon will be leaving with immediate effect, and thanks him for all his hard work at the company.

Gordon joined the company in 2004 and played a major part in re-branding most of the local radio stations with a Music:Fun:Life strapline, and hiring network presenters Simon James and Hill. His previous positions within the radio industry include News Editor at BRMB Birmingham and Programme Controller of Century Radio (Northeast).
