Emap?s Magic 105.4 has retained its position as number one commercial radio station in London. Each week 1,867,000 people tune in to Magic 105.4 – a highest ever figure and representing an 11.4 per cent increase ? or an additional 200,000 listeners in a year.
Neil Fox continues to close the gap on other London breakfast shows. Each weekday morning 803,000 listeners choose the Neil Fox More Music Breakfast Show. Just over 100,000 more people are tuning in at breakfast (a rise of 14 per cent) than at this time last year.
This gives Magic 105.4 a 6.5 per cent share of listening. The strong performances of both Magic 105.4 and Kiss 100 have made Emap Radio the biggest commercial radio group in London for the first time – commanding a 10.9 per cent share of listening.
