Radio Clyde Wins in RAJAR

RAJAR shows that Radio Clyde?s grip remains strong in Glasgow and the West of Scotland with a share of all listening of 25.3%.

Radio Clyde is the clear market leader with 736,000 listeners tuning in every week and Radio Clyde?s total hours, number of people listening and market share have all increased from figures released this time last year.

Clyde 1 remains market leader with 16.6% of all radio listening in Glasgow and the West while sister station Clyde 2 has overtaken BBC Radio 2, for 3rd spot in the market with a share of 8.7%.

Clyde 1?s Bowie at Breakfast attracts 318,000 listeners between 6-9am weekly which is more listeners than the BBC?s Radio 1 and Radio 2 added together at this time in the West of Scotland.

Superscoreboard Xtra !, Clyde 1?s football open line, has taken the crown as the West of Scotland?s top phone in between 6 – 7.30pm during the week with 181,000 weekly listeners. Clyde 1 also leads the way on Saturday afternoons between 2-6pm with more listeners than BBC Radio Scotland.
