The new radio station for Shrewsbury and Oswestry will go live at 7am on Monday 18th September. Broadcasting on 106.5 and 107.1, The Severn will be music-led, playing classic hits from the past 40 years from easy listening to adult pop.
Broadcasting on two frequencies and running the two as separate stations for Shrewsbury and Oswestry, the group aims to become the first choice for true local radio in the area.
Presenters will provide listeners with entertaining and informative programming along with local news bulletins throughout the day, with an extended bulletin at 6pm each weekday evening. The full presenter line up will be announced shortly, so keep an eye on the station website.
