GCap Media’s latest signing is to host a series of summer shows on FUNradio! TV star Basil Brush kicks off his ‘Basil’s Summer Season Saturday Show’ today at midday. The programme will be broadcast between 12pm and 2pm from 19th August to 16th September 2006, and repeated on Sundays at 4pm.
Basil will present his show from five locations on his summer season tour – Weymouth, Scarborough, Bradford, Cardiff and Derry.
Basil Brush said: “I can’t wait to put the BOOM! BOOM! into Fun radio! I’m bringing laughter to children in theatres everywhere with my fabtastically funny Foxfactor tour and now I can share all my jokes with Fun radio listeners too. Plus I can present my radio show wearing my favourite fluffy slippers and no one will ever know! Those pesky paparazzi have been following me wherever I go lately, I’ve taken to dying my Brush pink. They think I am a candyfloss and move on!, ha, ha Boom Boom!”
