The Regional Managing Director for TLRC in the South John Baker, and Wessex FM Marketing and Promotions Manager Joss Baker are both joining Tindle Radio South in similar roles.
John will join the group as Regional Managing Director, which includes overseeing operations at Kestrel FM in Basingstoke, Kick FM in Newbury, Delta Radio in East Hampshire and Win FM in Winchester. Both John and Jeff join the group in October and will be tasked with launching the radio station for Andover next year ? a new licence awarded to Tindle Radio in July.
John started at Wessex FM as Sales and Marketing manager in 1995. He moved on to be General Manager, then Managing Director and leaves as Regional Managing Director overseeing nine stations. Joss joined Wessex FM a month after John as credit controller and leaves as Marketing & Promotions Manager for the station. During their time at Wessex FM, John and Joss were involved with raising ?1.5 million for a MRI scanner for the Dorset County Hospital. They changed the face of Dorchester?s Christmas lights, getting national and local ?live? TV coverage, getting national media coverage by walking on hot coals for the RNLI and the Dorset Air Ambulance and have won three Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards.
