Heart 106.2 is set to launch an on-air campaign – for LBC 97.3. Whislt the decision to encourage listeners to try another of their stations is a new approach for Chrysalis , it has been tried before for other stations such as talkSPORT on local Wireless Group stations and the BBC.
The creative for the campaign is being voiced by actor Andrew Lincoln, will include presenters asking the sort of questions which generate debate on LBC's talk radio format.
LBC managing director David Lloyd said: "There is already crossover between audiences of the two brands, given our entertainment credentials. We are confident that this LBC 97.3 FM campaign on Heart – London's top radio station – will build LBC awareness and provide another option for Heart listeners when they are in the mood for more conversation."
