Mansfield 103.2 football deal

Radio station Mansfield 103.2 has signed a unique deal with Mansfield Town Football Club to take-over full control of the club's sales and marketing operations. As reported by RadioToday.co.uk last year, bosses from the two companies have been trying to strike a deal for some time.

Mansfield 103.2 managing director Tony Delahunty will take a large amount of financial control away from the the club, giving the football supporters more confidence in the future of the club, which has been in doubt.

On-Air, the radio station will start to broadcast commentary on away matches but home games will only be available via the club website. It is hoped that the radio station will be able to use the ground to perform pop concerts and such like events.
