Beacon Radio have expanded their local football coverage with regular match updates of every Walsall match during their ‘Game-on’ football show. Beacon will also broadcast the pre and post match interview with Walsall FC manager Richard Money.
Fans can also call the Phone-In after the match to air their views, reap praise on their team or just vent their frustration with Beacon’s Game-on crew.
Stu Haycock, Beacon Radio’s Game-on presenter commented, ‘Beacon prides itself on being local and having a passion for the area- this partnership with Walsall FC encapsulates that. Our relationship with the club is already good and its only going to get stronger now which is great for the station and great for the fans.’
“This is fantastic news for Walsall FC,” added Richard Money. “Beacon Radio’s football coverage already has a good following so this will widen our appeal and give more people the chance to follow Walsall’s progress. Hopefully we’ll be able to give Beacon some good games to cover.”
