Presenter Sheridan Morley dies

Former BBC Radio broadcaster Sheridan Morley has died. He was found dead this morning, aged 65. Sheridan joined the corporation in 1967 to present Late Night Line-Up on BBC Two, then went on to host the Radio 2 Arts Programme for 12 years.

More recently he presented Melodies For You on Radio 2, giving it up last month to make way for Alan Titchmarsh who took over the show just a couple of weeks ago. He was also a regular on the TV, as a panellist for Call My Bluff and Channel 4's Countdown programme.
