Share ends up for River

River FM, the station that this week closed and handed back its broadcasting licence to Ofcom, ended with an increased market share. RAJAR figures for Q4/2006 show it had a 5.3% share of the audience in its area, up from 5.2% in the previous quarter. River had lost 2,000 listeners during its final quarter on air, down to 20,000 per week (15% reach).
