BBC Radio 1 breakfast DJ Chris Moyles is appearing on Charlotte Church's TV chat show tonight and reportedly asks whether the child she's expecting is his. He jokes with the Welsh singer-turned television presenter after she shows off her new 'bump' on screen for the first time.
Moyles got into trouble with broadcasting watchdogs 5 years ago after making comments about Charlotte, then 16, on the radio. On his afternoon show in February 2002 he told listeners that he wanted to "lead her through the forest of sexuality now that she had reached 16". The Broadcasting Standards Commission agreed with complaints that the remarks were inappropriate and that the explicit sexual content and humour had exceeded acceptable boundaries for the time of transmission.
Charlotte obviously didn't take it to heart – and the pair became good friends. She's been on his radio show several times, and his Christmas Day Radio 1 show in 2005 was broadcast at Charlotte's mum's pub in Cardiff.
Last week, 21 year old Charlotte announced that she and rugby-playing boyfriend Gavin Henson are expecting a baby in September.
