Two new members have been appointed to the board of SMG. Jamie Mathieson and Lord Waheed Alli are to join as Non-Executive Directors. SMG have also put back the date for release of preliminary results for 2006 to 12 April, following recent changes in the company.
Jamie Mathieson (52) is the Executive Chairman of Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC. He was previously a Non-Executive Director of Scottish Radio Holdings plc until its sale to EMAP plc, and is currently a Non-Executive Director of AIM VCT2 plc.
Lord Waheed Alli (42) is currently Chairman of Chorion Ltd and of AIM-listed Asos plc. He is also a Director of Olga Television Ltd. He was previously Managing Director of Planet 24 Productions Ltd and Managing Director of Carlton Television Productions Ltd.
