The Local Radio Company trading in the last six months have proven to be "in line with expectations". Revenues from national sales, through the Group’s joint venture company First Radio Sales, have been exceptionally strong in the last three months, after a weaker first quarter.
While overall like for like sales revenues were down 7% during the six month period as a whole, the Group has been encouraged by an improving outlook with sales in March moving significantly ahead, to their highest monthly level since May 2006.
TLRC, which will launch a new station in Northallerton this year, will publish their Interim results in May.
