X Factor Star Shaun Rogerson was almost crushed by 100’s of young girls who turned out to meet him at Citybeat's most recent "Young Star Search" heat. The competition, run by the CN Radio station is hosted by presenter Stuart Robinson who is hoping to find the next "big thing".
Stuart commented: "The talent has been fantastic and we can’t wait to get all the regional winners together for the grand final later this summer. I’m convinced we will find someone who will go on later in life to do extremely well in the music businesses".
Joining Shaun on the judging panel was DJ Robin Elliot & Hollyoaks star Gerald Mcarthy whom selected Aisling Quinn, Alana Flynn, Katelynn Armstrong, Claire McCartney, Eamon Maskey and Suzanne Maquire for the public vote.
