Lee Finan joins Century FM

Former Metro FM and Sun FM presenter Lee Finan is the latest recruit at GMG Radio's Century FM in Newcastle. Lee will cover mid-mornings from July 2nd then move to a regular Sunday gameshow in August. He has been on the northeast airwaves for over 14 years.

The 44-year-old, who worked at Signal Radio when a teenage Robbie Williams was a tea boy there, said: "I'm really looking forward to being on-air at Century. It's a great station, the music is always fun and varied and I'm especially pleased to still be in the north-east as it's such a vibrant place."

Paul Smith, programme controller at Century FM told RadioToday.co.uk: We're really pleased that Lee is joining the Century team. He's a legend in the north-east with a loyal following, and a fantastic character to add to our already strong line-up."
