Emap is undertaking a review of its group structure and portfolio of assets – including radio stations. All options to maximise shareholder value will be examined, resulting in a possible sale or demerger of some or all of its constituent businesses.
The review comes in response to various unsolicited proposals it has received recently for parts of the Group. In the last month Emap has sold three Irish radio stations and half of it's music TV business.
The search for a new chief executive will continue in tandem with the review process.
