Touch FM Coventry presenter Lianna Lawrence has been hired by The Local Radio Company to host the networked late show. The interactive programme will air on nearly 30 stations from August 12th. At the same time, Tom Stroud will takeover the networked evening show.
Tom Stroud's Evening Show will air Monday to Thursday from 7pm till 10pm. It will be a ‘showbiz’ spectacular with lots of guests, interviews and prizes. Tom is currently the drivetime presenter at Isle of Wight Radio.
"Late and Live with Lianna" will broadcast Sunday to Thursday 10pm till 1am (with a 9pm start on Sunday's). Lianna is known as ‘Happy, chatty and sometimes batty’ and has been described as more ‘Choc jock’ than shock jock!
In other changes, Fiona Faulkner is moving to Friday and Saturday Evenings to present Fiona’s Feel Good Friday and The Saturday Night Party. The Big Cash Quiz expands and will now be on-air Friday nights as well as every Sunday 10pm till midnight, whilst singer Paul Young will host a Sunday evening show across the TLRC network.
