CityBeat’s reverse auction game has been won by a Belfast man who says he came within seconds of missing out on the prize. Paul McNeise from Lenadoon entered the lowest unique bid competition on the CN Group station just 6 seconds before the lines closed.
Commenting on his win Paul said, “I’m one of those people who has never won a thing, and I very nearly didn’t. I thought I’d give it ago seconds before the line closed and was amazed when I got the call from Citybeat hosts Mark & Dave to say I had won”.
Paul’s winning bid of £22.44 was the lowest unique text bid from all the entries received meaning he scooped the entire £10,000 cash prize for just a few quid.
The lucky Belfast man has just returned from his summer holiday in Spain and is already planning the next one. Paul also thinks his wife and 9 year old daughter Lauren will have some suggestions on how to spend the cash!
