Macquarie Radio profits fall

Australian radio company MRN has reported a fall in net profit of 6.1 per cent, despite a 3.3 per cent increase in revenue for the year ending June 2007. MRN owns the number one rated radio station in Sydney, 2GB, and is confident that its investment in new media would position the company for growth.

The company has just launched a national news site is Australia, and chief executive Angela Clark recently said she was extremely pleased with initial feedback.
