UTV Radio's Edinburgh talk station is down in the latest ratings today. Quarter 2 gives talk 107 a three per cent reach, down from four per cent three months ago. Around the group, talkSPORT sees an increase, whilst local stations such as U105 Belfast and Radio Wave Blackpool are on the up.
talk107 entered RAJAR 12 months ago with a 2 per cent reach, attracting 16,000 listeners. The station peaked last quarter with 43,000 listeners but drops back down to 26,000 today.
As a group, including talkSPORT, UTV Radio stays the same as far as national figures are concerned. Local stations combined show a slight increase in market share from 7.8 to 8.1 per cent.
A new RAJAR measuring specification was introduced for the latest results. These figures do not take in to account possible changes in TSA and are offered only as a guide.
