Virgin Radio International and the Arab Media Group have joined forces to launch a new radio station later this year. Virgin Radio Dubai will be an English language music station, with Virgin providing input for programming, marketing and promotions.
The Virgin Radio brand is also heard in other countries such as France, Thailand and Italy, with further stations planned for the Middle East. The stations are not owned by SMG (who own Virgin Radio in the UK) but by Richard Branson himself, and operate under various names.
