Former Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable is set to join Xfm South Wales to host Music:Responce each weekend. He is joined by weekday host of the show Colin Francis and new drivetime presenters Rhys and Eggsy from Goldie Lookin Chain.
The GCap Media station will also be home to Dainton and Pritchard from MTV. In a statement, Xfm said: "These guys love their rock music as anyone who has watched their DVD’s will know and while the music will be their priority it wont be long before their crazy stunts have listeners laughing out load and gawping in disbelief."
Friday night's specialist show The Remix will see a return home for Eddy Temple-Morris. Saturday breakfast is be hosted by Justin Waite (also known as Welshy) who has previously worked on breakfast shows at Red Dragon and Capital 95.8.
Commenting on the signings, Xfm Network Managing Director Nick Davidson, said: “This line-up is incredible – the best that Wales has to offer on one station. The response that we have had from everyone that we have approached has been brilliant. There are so many personalities in one schedule and I for one just can’t wait to tune in and listen. We still have more to announce including the all important breakfast show so keep your ears to the ground”.
Breakfast presenters are yet to be announced by the station, which launches on November 29th 2007.
